Wildlife Marginal Pond Plant Pack - 9cm pots

These are marginal pond plants and are best planted on pond shelves or around the pond edge.
- Position each plant at its recommended planting depth.
- Plant taller varieties towards the back and lower-growing plants towards the front.
- Leave enough space for plants to mature naturally.
- Water well if planting into boggy soil.
- Floating Water Lettuce should simply be placed on the water surface.
- The oxygenating bunch can be weighted and placed beneath the water surface or planted where appropriate.
- Remove any damaged foliage after planting and allow plants time to establish.

Lobelia cardinalis (Cardinal Flower)
Height: 60–90cm
Produces stunning scarlet-red flower spikes from late summer into autumn, adding vibrant colour when many other pond plants have finished flowering. A favourite with bees and butterflies.

Yellow Flag Iris (Iris pseudacorus)
Height: 90–150cm
A classic native marginal plant with striking yellow flowers in late spring and bold upright foliage. Excellent for wildlife and adding height to the pond edge.
